Paua Tiki Large

The Tiki depicts the first mortal born to the Gods. It is also a strong fertility symbol, with the hands on the loins symbolizing fertility. The Tiki is a good luck charm, and believed to give clarity of thought and great inner knowledge. This design has been carefully put together for maximum impact, using genuine Paua shell pieces that have been sourced and imported from New Zealand.

Paua is native and unique to New Zealand and the cold deep waters off the North and South Island coasts.  It is the cold Antarctic waters that produce the amazing multi-coloured blue, green and purple hues of Paua (pronounced "pah-wah"), making it one of the most beautiful and one of a kind shells in the world.
